Snapshot of the Week#2 - Easter Lilies in July

Last year, I purchased some Easter Lilies, failing to realize until after I got them home, that although the tag labeled them as a perennial, they actually weren’t a perennial in my planting zone - zone 7. Hmmm. What to do? I planted them up next to the house on the south side, hoping for the best.

I was thrilled when they came back. They started blooming the second week in July.

EDIT: I’ve been informed by a number of people on my Facebook gardening group that these are actually Stargazer lilies. Apparently, they were mislabeled!
